Q: What if I lose one of my nails?
A: Custom Nail Solutions retains your nail impression information for all 10 of your nails in our computer system, so all you need to do is contact the company and identify the number of your missing nail to order a nail replacement. A replacement nail will be created for a fee of $14.95 for a SINGLE NAIL or $129.95 for all 10, plus shipping and handling and sent to you. We recommend you buy a complete matching set of nails so that you always have a replacement nail for a lost nail immediately.
Q: Can order a second set later and have it be a different style?
A: Absolutely. Because we store your personal nail profile data in our computer data base, you simply tell us the length and style that you desire and we will manufacture and ship your nail choice to you.

Q: Can I paint a color of my choice over the French manicure?
A: Yes. Because your nails are made from an acetone proof thermo-plastic you may paint your custom fit nails with any color or brand nail polish, apply nail art or nail wraps. When you are done with that look it may be removed with nail polish remover. The nail polish adheres to the plastic that allows for longer, durable wear time of your nail polish unlike a regular painted nail.
Q: Do you offer another nail choice besides French?
A: Yes. We offer a solid pink nail, no white tip. May be painted any color or brand nail polish, apply nail art or nail wraps.
Q: What if my Custom Nail Solution Nails crack, chip or break?
A: Our Custom Nail Solution nails are made out of a virtually unbreakable plastic. If they do break due to a manufacturing defect, Custom Nail Solution nails will replace them. The broken or defective nail must be returned to us.
Q: What should I do if my natural nails are damaged from wearing acrylic nails?
A: If the damage to your natural nail bed are extremely severe, we suggest you let your natural nails grow out for a few weeks, without any artificial nail before impressions are taken. However, most women find this to be an unacceptable choice. You can take impressions of your damaged nail beds and receive your Custom Nail Solutions nails. You will likely need to get a new impression done in 3 to 6 months when your natural nails get healthy.
Q: How often should I remove and reapply my Custom Nail Solutions Nails?
A: You can wear your Custom Nail Solution Nails for one special event and remove them. You must apply the Debonder over the entire nail bed and not apply as much adhesive. The wear time of your custom fitted nails is from 10 days to 4 weeks. It depends on how fast your nails grow, how hard you are on your hands. Your natural nail with grow out and it will look as if you need a fill. Your custom fit nails will become loose. This is your sign that they are ready to come off. When removed they should be cleaned and when you reapply they will look beautiful with no growth line. You can wear your custom nails to fit your time lines and schedule. You can have your nail technician take care of the care or you can do it yourself. It is completely your personal choice.
Q: Will Custom Nail Solution Nails damage my natural nails?
A: Some damage is possible. With Custom Nail Solution Nails technologically advanced nail products and advanced protocol application and removal methods, there should be little to no damage to your natural nail. Every woman’s experience may vary according to personal chemistry and personal maintenance and care procedures. Many long term wearers of historic artificial nails have substantial nail bed damage. However, damaged nails and nail beds will grow back to a healthy vital condition when the toxic releases from acrylic are removed. Precise application and maintenance procedures must be followed to get the best experience with your nails.
Q: Can I get fungus, mold or infection under my Custom Nail Solution Nails?
A: Yes. If you have had a history of fungus or mold we suggest pre-treating your natural nails with grapefruit seed extract, which is a natural preventative, and following the prescribed timetable for removal and cleaning of your nails. Mold can be caused by water trapped underneath the nail and can be buffed off. If your nail beds are extremely damaged you will be at higher risk for the first few months of wear. When your nail beds heal and grow back healthy the issue usually terminates. With consistent removal of your Custom Nail Solution Nails and proper care of your nails, fungus and mold has less of a chance to take hold. If a fungus or infection does develop, see a Doctor immediately. Also, you must be cautious of the removal soak-off you use. 85% of the nail industry relies on an acetone based solvent to remove nails. Our soak off is a bit stronger. If you have the slightest reaction of redness or any irritation stop using it IMMEDIATELY. Use a hand lotion with some aloe vera after each removal treatment to replenish your fingers and hands from the contact with the harsh removal solutions.
Q: If my fingers get slammed or hit, will my natural nails tear or get injured?
A: Possibly. If severe trauma occurs to the nail area damage may occur to your natural nail and to your Custom Nail Solution Nail.
Q: What makes Custom Nail Solution Nails better than acrylics, gels, and wraps?
A: Custom Nail Solutions Nails are created using a thermoplastic unlike acrylics, which are thermo-sets that cure on your natural nail bed and constantly release toxic substances.
Q: When will I receive my nails?
A: From the time that your impressions are received and confirmed error free it may take approximately 14-21 days to create them. Orders are finished in the order they are received and every effort is made to complete them in a timely manner. This does not include shipping time. If there is a problem or question with your nails you will be contacted. Custom Nail Solutions reserves to the right to change this timeline according to demand. Upon payment of expedited processing fee of $59.95 your nails will be created in approximately 4 business days and shipped.
